More ‘go’
Now with a 2.5L 4-cylinder VVT-i engine and Toyota’s fifth-generation Hybrid Electric system, the All-New RAV4 offers improved electric motor output and transaxle efficiency for enhanced performance.

Surprisingly agile
In PHEV variants, the traction battery is positioned beneath the floor, reducing body roll and enhancing rigidity for a confident and engaging drive. The result is smooth, assured handling and a responsive take-off that makes every drive feel effortless.

Tow and go
With a braked towing capacity of 1,500kg[G6][K12] for AWD variants (both HEV and PHEV), the All-New RAV4 gives you the pulling power you need, to tow the toys you love, to the places you’d rather be. In 2WD variants, the braked towing capacity is 800kg[G6][K12].

Hybrid Electric (HEV)

- Refuelling:Refuel with petrol (95 or above)
- Grades: GX, GXL, Edge, XSE and Cruiser
Plug-in Hybrid Electric (PHEV)
- How it works: The Plug-in Hybrid Electric system in the All-New RAV4 includes an engine that runs on petrol, an electric motor and a larger traction battery for longer, electric-only driving when charged.
- Benefits: Enjoy the fuel savings that come with electrified driving, with the assurance of a petrol engine for longer journeys.
- Electric driving range: Up to 154km[G120] New European Driving Cycle (NEDC) range**.
- Charging/Refuelling:Refuel with petrol (95 or above)Charge at home (AC) or in public via an EV charging station (AC or DC)

Ever-evolving safety technology
The All-New RAV4 is among the first to feature the new Toyota Safety Sense[S1], our most advanced suite of safety technologies. Compatible with remote updates so you and your passengers can always feel protected, now and into the future.

3D parking visibility
On XSE, Cruiser and GR Sport, a new three-dimensional Panoramic View Monitor[S1] offers a more complete view of the area surrounding the vehicle, making parking swifter, safer and more satisfying.

Blind spots covered
The All-New RAV4’s Blind Spot Monitor[S1] now includes a rear vehicle approach indicator. This can alert the driver of vehicles approaching fast from behind, reducing the chance of a rear-end collision.

Reduced collision risk
Designed to minimise the risk of a collision with crossing traffic, the new Front Cross Traffic Alert (FCTA)[S1] feature uses built-in sensors and radars to recognise hazards at intersections and warn the driver.
