The remainder of 2022 brings exciting upgrades to the HiLux range!
The SR extra-cab and double cab variants are the first of tech upgrades to the HiLux range swapping out the existing steel rims for stylish new black 17-inch alloys. The SR will also be upgraded with other aesthetic features replacing the existing black handles with body-colored door handles providing a more premium look.
Following the SR model, the SR5 double-cab pick-up grades gain multiple new safety features, including:
- blind-spot monitor
- rear cross-traffic alert to avoid a collision with approaching vehicles when reversing
- panoramic view monitor for greater peace of mind on the road or when navigating tight spaces.
- Puddle lamps have also been added for safer ingress and egress at night, replacing heated exterior mirrors.
All SR5 grades and above see the existing steering column lock replaced with a new ID Box anti-theft immobiliser, which works in tandem with the HiLux's smart key to provide an extra level of security.
