Last week Toyota launched the All-New LandCruiser 300 Series, and we couldn’t be more excited for this new era of the King we all know and love. We’re sure you’ve heard the news, but there are two new kids on the block. Enter the two new luxury models, the Sahara ZX & the GR Sport.
We thought you might like to get to know these new additions a little better, so we’re here to help give these new guys the spotlight they deserve. Here’s everything you need to know.
Improved Performance & Safety
With Drive Mode Select (5 mode), both the Sahara ZX and GR Sport will constantly adapt to improve driving performance, providing your vehicle with more power and efficiency than ever before.
Exclusive to the Sahara ZX is a Rear Torque Sensing Limited Slip Differential (LSD), improving the safety and capability of the vehicle when off-roading. Both the ZX and the GR Sport include Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS), allowing you to take on even the toughest Australian terrain.

The GR Sport takes off-roading to a whole new level, with the exclusive addition of E-KDSS (Electronic Kinetic Dynamic Suspension System). This means that the vehicle will respond in the best way possible to conditions of the terrain you’re taking on, whether that’s on or off-road. It does so by engaging stabilisers on road when cornering, and assists in freeing movement for that rough and challenging off-road terrain. The GR Sport also sports front and rear differential locks.

An Added Touch of Luxury
There’s no rule to say that the toughest adventures can’t be taken on in luxurious style. These two new models boast more luxury than ever before seen in the LandCruisers.
There’s a clearly visible touch of luxury to the exterior of these new models. The Sahara ZX has a unique side-step design integrated with lower door molding, and illuminated side steps. In addition, the ZX features a unique-look front and rear lower bumper design and wheel arch mouldings.

You only have to look at any photo of the GR Sport to see that this new model is a kind of luxury and sportiness we’ve never seen before in the LandCruiser family. With a unique matte black glossy mesh grille and white matte Toyota logo, you’re sure to turn heads wherever you go in this beast.
Both new models have the luxury of leather accented seating, and a unique carbon fibre look steering wheel, centre console and door trim. You’ll find the GR Sport badge on the steering wheel and push-start button of the GR Sport, and just to add an extra sporty and luxurious feel, it is embroidered into the front seat headrests.

Looks are important, but so is practicality and convenience. Have no fear, the new kids sport both. Both the Sahara ZX and GR Sport have a power back door, however the Sahara ZX has a hands-free back door with a kick sensor making it extra convenient on not only your big Aussie adventures, but the small everyday ones too (e.g. grocery shopping…ugh)
Road trips are made extra enjoyable with the addition of a premium 14-speaker JBL audio system in both new models, allowing you to listen to all of your favourite music and podcasts in crisp quality. Both the Sahara ZX and the GR Sport have 3 USB charging ports (1 in the front and 2 in the rear), and that in itself is the ultimate luxury.
