How does the Prado Perform?

The 2020 Toyota Prado has exceptional performance. The 2.8-litre turbo-diesel engine now delivers an impressively smooth 150kW of direct-injected power and a formidable upgraded 500Nm of torque, giving you more than enough muscle to travel anywhere with confidence.
Even with such impressive performance, this engine also delivers sufficient fuel efficiency with 8.0L/100km for the automatic transmission and 7.9L/100km for the manual transmission (available on GX and GXL models only), or around 1,700km per tank, for the 6-speed manual transmission. Now that’s impressive!

The Prado offers an incredible array of safety features. The ‘Safe T-Cell’ body is designed to take impact from the front, rear and sides. 7 SRS airbags, including full-length side curtain-shield airbags. Most Prado models feature the latest Toyota Safety Sense driver assistance technologies.
